The summer holidays may have started but Greig City Academy’s sailing programme continues. While Scaramouche is out of the water being prepared for the Fastnet the senior crew are taking part in their first senior adult Etchells regatta- the Gertrude Cup. Yesterday they trained then today they had to undertake a major weight drop to comply with the 285 limit. After two long runs, gym work in full water proofs and a sauna or two in smocks they did it! Now we are ready for the Gertrude Cup on the Solent tomorrow!
